Founded by two young men in 1992, Goodwell was located in one of the most rural country, Miao-Li Hsieng, Taiwan. The name of "Goodwell" was derivated from the initials of her two founder, Gao and Wei.

By November 1993, Goodwell complished her first milestone, become the 5^th manufacturer of 15kV Fuse Cutout in Taiwan, the rest four are Chung Shin Electric、Fortune Electric、Allis Electric and Shin Ta Electric. Three of them are public companies in Taiwan .

Since that, Goodwell had continuously invested cash capital for her second target-manufacturing capability of key components made of polymeric materials, rubber and epoxy, this target had been reached shorty, and has made Goodwell is capable to develop complete series of electrical devices, components and equipments for overhead and underground distribution system. These whole series of products had been completely developed, qualified and commercialized item by item ,by Goodwell R&D persons whom has been tightly coordinated and technologically cooperated together.

Today, with brand name of "Goodwell", our products cover the necessary devices and equipments for overhead and underground electrical distribution system up to 35kV, including Over Voltage Protecting Devices. Over Current  Protecting Devices. Cable Accessories. Feeder Automation Switches/Circuit Breakers. We are one of the manufacturers in Taiwan for this field of products.

Recently, Goodwell cooperates with North American and Korean main electrical players by OEM or ODM types of business, seeking for long term growth and short term stability and survives under the global economic crisis.
